ServisFirst Bank, a subsidiary of ServisFirst Bancshares,
Inc. (NASDAQ: SFBS), has announced ServisFirst Bank Huntsville’s
president and CEO, Andy Kattos, has been named as one of The University
of Alabama in Huntsville’s 2020 Alumni of Achievement.
Selected by the
Board of Directors of The University of Alabama in Huntsville’s Alumni
Association, the list features six honorees for their outstanding accomplishments
in their career and community.
In 2006, Andy Kattos
formed a team to raise capital to open ServisFirst Bank in Huntsville and has since
led the ServisFirst Bank Huntsville market, growing it to third in market share
in the Huntsville region. Kattos earned his Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration with a major in finance from The University of Alabama in
Huntsville and his post-graduate graduate degree from the Graduate School of
Banking at Louisiana State University.
Additionally,
Kattos is a graduate of Leadership/Huntsville Madison County (LHMC) Class 16
and also served as Finance Co-Chair (2008) and Chair for LHMC (2009). He has
also served on LHMC’s Endowment Committee and LHMC’s Leadership Management
Academy Committee.
Kattos is currently a Rotary Club Member, Hudson Alpha
Institute for Biotechnology Ambassador, The University of Alabama in Huntsville
College of Business External Advisory Board Member (2017-present), and The
National Children’s Advocacy Center Board Member (2017-present).
He has also served on the Junior League of Huntsville
Advisory Council (2017- 2019), Huntsville Hospital Foundation (HHF) Board
Member (2012-2018), and HHF Finance Committee Member (2013-2020) where he also
served as Finance Chairperson (2014-2015). Kattos has served as a Board Member
for the Huntsville Library Foundation, the Suzanna Wesley Early Education
Ministry (SWEEM) at First United Methodist Church, The American Cancer Society,
the Huntsville Hospital Foundation Development Council and Leadership
Huntsville/Madison County.
