ServisFirst Bank Tampa Bay President Appointed to Chamber of Commerce Board

Gwynn Davey joins Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce 2019 Board of Directors

ServisFirst Bank, a subsidiary of ServisFirst Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: SFBS), recently announced that ServisFirst Bank Tampa Bay president, Gwynn Davey, has been appointed to the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce 2019 Board of Directors. Davey has been a member of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce for the past 10 years and has held positions including event committee chair for the Small Business of the Year and subcommittee chair for nominations and judging for the Small Business of the Year for the past 8 years.

With over 30 years of banking and financial experience, Gwynn Davey joined ServisFirst Bank Tampa Bay Region as President in 2016. In her current role, Davey oversees the bank’s commercial lending and cash management activities.

Previously, Davey served as the Market President of Hillsborough County for Bay Cities Bank in Tampa, Florida from 2013 until its sale to Centennial Bank on October 1, 2015. Davey also previously served the Tampa Bay community for Bay Cities Bank, rising from Vice President of Commercial Lending to Senior Lender and ultimately to her position as Market President. Before joining Bay Cities, she spent time with SouthTrust Bank of Tampa, Florida and with various financial institutions in Rochester and New York City, New York.

Davey has served as Chair and Emcee of the Tampa Chamber Small Business of the Year Award Committee. She is also a past President of the Rotary Club of Tampa and the Commercial Real Estate Women of Tampa Bay. She has held various committee and Board positions for not for profit entities including Teaching Tools for Hillsborough Schools and Kids Charity Tampa Bay.

Davey is a cum laude graduate of Siena College having obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Upon graduating from Siena College, Davey went on to achieve her Masters of Business in Finance from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
