ServisFirst Bank Nashville Announces New Commercial Banking Team To Join Top-Ranked Regional Bank

(NASDAQ: SFBS), recently announced the addition of four new hires at the Nashville office: Stephanie Farmer to Vice President, Commercial Banking; Dave Horrell to Vice President, Commercial Banking; Andy Fisher to Vice President, Commercial Banking; and Melanie Edwards to Client Relationship Specialist. All four new hires join ServisFirst Bank Nashville from First Tennessee Bank’s business/commercial banking division.

Stephanie Farmer, Vice President, Commercial Banking

With over 16 years in the banking industry, Stephanie Farmer joins ServisFirst Bank Nashville from First Tennessee Bank, where she served as Vice President of Commercial and Business Banking Regional Manager. During her time at First Tennessee Bank, Farmer was recognized as one of the “Diamond Circle Winners” for two years consecutively. Prior to joining First Tennessee Bank, Farmer was a Business/Commercial Regional Manager at Regions Bank and SunTrust Bank in Nashville.

Farmer graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. She has her RMA certification, as well as a certification in Commercial Lending to Small Business through Omega Performance.

Andy Fisher, Vice President, Commercial Banking

Andy Fisher joins ServisFirst Bank Nashville from First Tennessee Bank, where he served as Vice President of Commercial and Business Banking Regional Manager. Fisher has been an employee of First Tennessee since 2001, serving in numerous capacities including credit analyst, field examiner, business development, and Business/Commercial Regional Manager. In addition, Fisher served as Director of Business Development for BDO, Nashville for 3 years.

Fisher is a proud recipient of several awards and distinctions including “Top Business Banker for First Tennessee Bank” for 2017 and 2018, as well as “Diamond Circle Award” winner for 2017 and 2018. Fisher graduated from the University of Memphis as a Finance Major with a Bachelor of Business degree in Business Administration.

Dave Horrell, Vice President, Commercial Banking

Dave Horrell joins ServisFirst Bank Nashville from First Tennessee Bank, where he served as Vice President of Commercial and Business Banking Regional Manager. Horrell is a business/commercial banker veteran with over 16 years of experience. Prior to joining First Tennessee Bank, Horrell served as a Commercial Regional Manager at SunTrust Bank in Nashville. Before moving to Nashville, Horrell served as a Commercial Regional Manager at both BBVA Compass and Wachovia Bank in Gainesville, FL, where he had attended college.

Horrell graduated from the University of Florida in 1993, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. While attending the University of Florida, Horrell served as a member of the Florida Army National Guard as a multi-channel communications systems operator. He was named a Distinguished Honor Graduate by the U.S. Army Communications School in Ft. Gordon, GA.

Melanie Edwards, Client Relationship Specialist

Melanie Edwards joins ServisFirst Bank from First Tennessee Bank, where she served as Senior Client Specialist – Business Banking. During her time at First Tennessee Bank, Edwards showed proven success in sales and was a recipient of the “Million Dollar Award.”

Edwards earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing from Belmont University.
