Veteran Bank Executives join Ken Barber at ServisFirst Bank

Leadership team announced for Atlanta Region

Atlanta, GA -

Following the recent closing of the merger with Metro Bancshares, Inc., ServisFirst Bank announces executives for the Atlanta region under the leadership of Ken Barber, President and CEO of ServisFirst Bank Atlanta. The team is comprised of Atlanta area veteran bankers formerly associated with Bank of Atlanta, including Linda Anthony, Senior Vice President, Cash Management Sales and Noble Jones, Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending.

Kenneth L. “Ken” Barber, President & CEO of ServisFirst Bank Atlanta

With over 38 years of banking experience, Ken Barber joins ServisFirst Bank Atlanta as President and CEO. In 2007, Barber chartered Metro Bank, growing assets to $230 million before being purchased by ServisFirst Bancshares. Prior to Metro Bank, Barber chartered Georgian Bank, where he served as CEO and Vice Chairman of the Board. After his first ten years of banking with The First National Bank of Atlanta, at age 31, Barber started C&M Bank in Douglasville, serving as CEO and as a Board Member for 14 years.

Barber received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of West Georgia and is a graduate of the University of Georgia Banking School. Currently, Barber serves on the Boards of various non-profit organizations, including the Cobb Chamber of Commerce.

Linda Anthony, Senior Vice President, Cash Management Sales

With over 42 years of banking experience, Linda Anthony joins ServisFirst Bank Atlanta as Senior Vice President of Cash Management Sales. Previously serving as Executive Vice President, Treasury Management Department Manager for Bank of Atlanta, Anthony will be responsible for developing business relationships with clients by promoting and providing its state-of-the-art cash management products.

Anthony holds a Certified Cash Manager Credential (CCM/CTP). Anthony currently serves as Treasurer for The Umbrella Foundation, in various leadership roles with United Way of Metro Atlanta Youth Development Committee, National Advisor to the Cash Management Committee of the Government Finance Offers Association of the United States and Canada and previously served as a Board Member and Fundraising Chair (Race for the Cure) for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Atlanta Affiliate, SouthTrust Bank Fundraising Chair for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, founding member of the Georgia Government Finance Officers Association. She was honored by Women Looking Ahead Magazine as “One of Georgia’s Top 100 Most Powerful and Influential Women in the banking and finance category.

Noble Jones, Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending

With over 34 years of banking experience, Noble Jones joins ServisFirst Bank Atlanta as Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending. Previously serving as President and Senior Lender for Bank of Atlanta, Jones will be responsible for developing commercial business in the metro area with emphasis on locally-owned companies with annual revenues between $10 million and $100 million.

Jones received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Auburn University. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University’s School of Banking of the South. Jones currently serves as President for his neighborhood Homeowner’s Association, as a member of the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce and on the Board of Directors for the Small Business Access Partners Certified Development Company.
