ServisFirst Bank Ranked as the Bank with the Highest Market Share in Dothan and Houston County

Bank tops Federal Deposit Insurance Corps. Deposit Market Share Report

ServisFirst Bank Dothan, a subsidiary of ServisFirst Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: SFBS), has gained top market share in Dothan and Houston County from the FDIC’s Deposit Market Share Report. The list reported over $493 million in local deposits as of June 30 for ServisFirst Bank Dothan. These deposits make up 20 percent of overall deposits in Houston County, solidifying the commanding share of deposits in the area.

The FDIC releases their Deposit Market Share Report on an annual basis. In 2015, the report listed $373 million in local deposits for ServisFirst Bank Dothan. The 2015 numbers ranked ServisFirst Bank as the bank with the second highest market share in the area with 16 percent. The 2016 report displayed an almost four percent increase and allowed ServisFirst Bank Dothan to take the slot as the bank in the area with the most market share and deposits. ServisFirst Bank has been serving the citizens of Houston County since 2008, and currently has two offices in the area.
