Former State Representative Halsey Beshears Joins
ServisFirst Bank Tallahassee as Vice President

ServisFirst Bank, a subsidiary of ServisFirst Bancshares (NYSE:SFBS), announces the addition of former State Representative Halsey Beshears to ServisFirst Bank Tallahassee as Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer.

The hire of Halsey Beshears as Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer now completes ServisFirst Bank’s strategic growth throughout the Florida Panhandle in 2022. With recent office openings in Tallahassee and Panama City, these two markets strengthen the existing presence in Ft. Walton and Pensacola.

Halsey Beshears joins ServisFirst Bank Tallahassee as Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer. Beshears is an innovative entrepreneur, successful business owner, and four-term State Representative with a proven drive and commitment to the people of Florida. His extensive experience in relationship-building and business development provides great value to the team and his clients.

Elected in 2012, Beshears served in the Florida House of Representatives for six years, listening to and advocating for his constituents across the Panhandle daily. He sponsored and passed legislation on topics such as a federal single-subject amendment, building construction, transportation, public records in public agency contracts, the Department of Financial Services, the Department of Transportation, and more. He then was appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis to lead the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. For two years from 2019 to 2021, Beshears led the state’s largest business agency during the Governor’s first year and the following year of the Covid pandemic. While serving our state, Beshears continued to run his two successful businesses, 850 Investments and Management founded in 2015 and 904 Investments of Duval County founded in 2010. Prior to starting these businesses, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Simpson Nurseries and then President of Total Landscape Supply.

Beshears has served in countless leadership positions and on community boards throughout the Panhandle including Board of Advisors of Ameris Bank Chairman; Florida Sportsman Caucus Chairman; Jefferson County Farm Bureau Board of Advisors; and Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association President. In 2016, he was named Legislator of the Year by Florida Farm Bureau and awarded the Legislative Leadership Award by The Small County Coalition.
