ServisFirst Bank Promotes Three Employees Within Huntsville Office And Adds Another Commercial Banker

Drew Battle, Blake Freeman, Albert Butler Advance and Chris Jackson joins Top-Ranked Regional Bank

Huntsville, AL -

ServisFirst Bank, a subsidiary of ServisFirst Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: SFBS), recently announced the promotion of three employees and one new hire at the Huntsville office: Drew Battle to First Vice President; Blake Freeman to Assistant Vice President; Albert Butler to Cash Management Officer; and Chris Jackson was hired from Iberia Bank as an Assistant Vice President and Commercial Banking Officer. All promotions and hiring were based on previous accomplishments and experience.

Drew Battle, First Vice President

Drew Battle is a veteran of the banking industry with over twelve years of banking experience. Prior to joining ServisFirst Bank in 2012, he served as Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager at Progress Bank and Assistant Branch Manager at Regions Bank. In his previous role as Vice President of Commercial and Industrial Banking at ServisFirst Bank Huntsville, Battle oversaw a commercial banking team consisting of a credit analyst and loan administrator.

Battle earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance, Banking and Financial Services from the University of Alabama. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Huntsville/Madison County Leadership Management Academy and the Leadership Huntsville Connect Program.

Blake Freeman, Assistant Vice President

Blake Freeman joined ServisFirst Bank Huntsville in 2015 as a Credit Analyst and was then promoted to Commercial Banker in 2016. In his new role as an Assistant Vice President, Freeman will develop and retain commercial relationships, while assisting in the growth and management of the bank. Prior to his promotion, he served as a Commercial Banker with a focus on Commercial and Industrial Banking along with Residential Construction and Development.

Freeman graduated Cum Laude from Auburn in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He is a graduate of Leadership Huntsville and is a mentor with Cornerstone Initiative’s Faith and Finances Program.

Albert Butler, Cash Management Officer

Albert Butler joined ServisFirst Bank in 2010 and has held various positions such as Teller, Customer Service Representative and his previous role at Cash Management Specialist. Butler has excelled in every position and is one of the Bank’s most promoted employees over his tenure. In his new role as Cash Management Officer, Butler will oversee all aspects of cash management services for the Huntsville market including electronic banking, sweep accounts, and merchant services along with commercial, consumer and P-Cards services.

Butler graduated from Auburn University in 2002, earning a degree in Business Management.

Chris Jackson, Assistant Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer

Chris Jackson joined ServisFirst Bank in 2016 and has recently rejoined from Iberia Bank. In his new role as Assistant Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer at ServisFirst Bank Huntsville, Jackson is on the Commercial and Industrial Banking team with a primary focus in Government Contract Banking. He has over ten years of banking experience, as well as professional experience as a Commercial Credit Analyst and Portfolio Manager.

Jackson graduate from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He is also a graduate of the Connect Program at Leadership Huntsville/Madison County.
